Rita Lopes holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Oncology and has 8 years of post-doctoral experience in Developmental Neuroscience. She has a significant background in research, having done work in oncolytic virus for pancreatic cancer at Cancer Research UK and in the genetic determinants of neuronal cell fate in the developing brain as an investigator scientist with the MRC, London. For the past 15+years Rita has worked in the Pharma industry, with expertise in Business and Market Intelligence for the bio-pharma domain, particularly with Oncology and Rare Diseases. At Atacana, Rita has headed several projects within Precision Medicine, Oncology, Hematology, and Cell and Gene Therapies. More recently, Rita has been dedicated to the development and deployment of Atacana's innovative AI-enabled solutions for Pharma intelligence.
