We empower pharma teams to win with confidence

Born in pharma. Led by pharma executives. Enhanced by AI.

We deliver strategic guidance, competitive intelligence, and technological advantage that traditional CI firms simply can't match.

From pharma executives to trusted allies

Atacana was founded by former pharma leaders who saw a better way to deliver insight and impact. Our name is inspired by Chile’s Atacama Desert, one of the clearest places on Earth for astronomical observation, a symbol of our focus on clarity and foresight. Today, we partner with global life sciences teams to help them launch, compete, and win, combining real-world experience, AI-powered intelligence, and proven CI methodology to deliver measurable results.

We’re pharma experts who’ve been in your shoes. Our co-founders and senior strategic advisors are involved in every engagement shaping strategy, guiding execution, and embedding with your teams from day one.

We’re more than a consultancy

We’re a team of curious, driven, and collaborative people who believe in doing work that matters and doing it the right way. Our culture is shaped by these four core values:

Build Trust

We earn trust by listening carefully, delivering what we promise, and operating with transparency and integrity. We engage in healthy debate to reach better decisions, then commit fully to the path forward. Respect and transparency guide how we work with clients and each other.

Be Curious

We pursue the "why" behind client needs and market shifts. This curiosity fuels continuous improvement and elegant simplification. We embrace new ideas, create fresh concepts, and apply exponential technologies where they unlock real competitive advantage.

Deliver Excellence

We hold ourselves to the highest standards in strategy, execution, and teamwork. Every deliverable, every conversation, every hire reflects our commitment to quality. We take ownership, hold each other accountable, and never settle for good enough.

Growth Mindset

We stay humble enough to keep learning, no matter our expertise. Growth means remaining open to new perspectives, questioning our assumptions, and evolving our thinking. This humility enables us to remain flexible and adaptive in a constantly changing landscape.

"Working at Atacana feels empowering in multiple ways."
